Yongin City announced on the 1st that it will host "A Close Look at Produce Origins" at Ace Hall — a hands-on exhibit where visitors can compare domestic and imported agricultural and livestock products side by side.

The exhibit aims to sharpen consumers' ability to identify product origins, curb misleading labeling, and promote a safer food culture.

To maximize impact, the city is running tailored sessions for different audiences: restaurant operators on the 1st and 6th, and daycare directors on the 2nd.

Using life-like food models and clear displays, the exhibit demonstrates which items restaurants are required to label and highlights labeling practices that can be easily confused.

Notably, 26 commonly consumed items with high import rates are presented side by side so visitors can immediately compare domestic and imported versions.

On-site origin-labeling inspectors and city officials will guide visitors through identification tips and offer face-to-face consultations for any questions.

"톺아보기" is a Korean term that means examining or analyzing each item carefully and thoroughly.
