On the 10th, Lotte Wellfood unveiled a new snack—Lotsen Pasteur "Pure Milk" flavor—targeting the so-called "pairing" dessert market: treats designed to be enjoyed alongside drinks, the company said.
What sets the new release apart is that Pasteur milk, processed using low-temperature pasteurization, is folded into both the outer coating and the inner cream. The result is a satisfyingly crisp bite with a rich, authentic milk flavor that, the company says, really comes to life when paired with coffee, a warm cup of tea, or yogurt—much more so than eating it on its own.
To celebrate the launch, Lotte Wellfood is running a major consumer promotion. Scan the QR code printed on the package and verify your purchase to enter a prize drawing. Entries are accepted through April 30, and winners will be announced on May 14.

At the brick-and-mortar Pasteur Milk Bar, the brand is also debuting collaborative menu items. From March 14 through April 12, two limited-time drinks—the Milk Sand Shake and the Sandberry Yogurt—will be available. Customers who order these promotion drinks during the campaign will receive the new snack on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
A Lotte Wellfood spokesperson said, "The new milk-flavored sandwich shines thanks to its signature sweetness and silky texture, making it a perfect match for a variety of beverages. We'll continue expanding our dessert lineup with more items designed to pair well with different foods."
