Seoul Fashion Week 2026 F/W is set to take place Feb. 3–8 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul. Under the slogan "After Expansion, Focus," organizers are consolidating programming at the DDP to concentrate global attention on K-fashion. This season’s collaboration with Milan Fashion Week is positioned as a key springboard for Korean designers aiming to break further into international markets.
DDP-centered immersive runways promise K-fashion a fresh visual experience
Programming for 2026 F/W will be tightly focused around the DDP. In Art Hall 1, a panoramic runway spanning 10 LED panels will deliver a full 360-degree viewing experience. Brands will lean into varied performance elements to heighten immersion and on-site energy, making each show feel cinematic and immediate.
Art Hall 2’s clean white palette offers a refined setting for classic staging and will serve as an ideal backdrop for letting each brand’s identity shine. Presentations will take place in Art Hall 2 and the Igangsumun Exhibition Hall, where designers will present narrative-driven performances tailored to each space.
Diverse programming and Milan partnership elevate Seoul’s global profile
This season’s lineup includes 15 runway shows, nine presentations, and roughly 100 brands in the trade show, with the second Seoul Fashion Forum adding further depth to the program. Notably, Seoul Fashion Week has signed a memorandum of understanding with Milan Fashion Week to strengthen ties on the international stage.
As part of that collaboration, five domestic labels — Gimhaegim, Amomento, Jayden Cho, Visfok, and Daily Mirror — will showcase collections locally during Milan Fashion Week in the 2026 F/W season. Organizers expect this to provide tangible support for Seoul-based designers seeking global opportunities.
Last season proved wide public appeal; heavyweight promotion ramps up anticipation
In the 2026 S/S season, Seoul Fashion Week expanded its footprint across downtown Seoul after kicking off with an opening show on Deoksugung-gil, generating strong attention. The event produced about 50 print stories, roughly 600 social media exposures, and some 3,700 overseas reports, attracting interest from both the public and international fashion professionals.
Seoul Fashion Week’s official social media channels surpassed 15 million total views, demonstrating significant public engagement and broad cultural reach. Building on that momentum, organizers are launching an extensive promotional campaign ahead of this season — from Incheon International Airport to Samseong-dong, Gangnam Station, and across subway and bus ads throughout Seoul — to stoke excitement for the new season.
