Hansem announced on the 28th that it will open Nili Lotan’s first store in Korea at Hyundai Department Store’s Apgujeong Main Branch in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 29th.
Designer Nili Lotan—who previously worked on collections for global names including Ralph Lauren—launched her eponymous women’s label in the U.S. in 2003. The brand is celebrated for clean, refined silhouettes and practical pieces that feel elegant yet effortless, with a modern, tactile sensibility. After the Apgujeong flagship opens, Hansem plans a pop-up at Hyundai Department Store’s Trade Center branch next month.
Next month, Hansem will also introduce a Ten C store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu. Ten C is a men’s label founded in Italy in 2010 by Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey, both veterans of luxury sportswear houses C.P. Company and Stone Island. The brand is known for its proprietary signature fabrics that offer exceptional durability, wind resistance, and water repellency.
The brand name is an abbreviation of "The Emperor's New Clothes." Inspired by Andersen’s fairy tale, it reflects the idea of imbuing products with genuine value that goes beyond appearances.
Hansem has used imported curated shops as antenna stores to monitor domestic customers’ needs and brand preferences. That strategy lets the company proactively discover popular overseas fashion labels and bring them to Korea.
Over the past three years, Hansem has introduced about 10 new international fashion labels, including U.S. luxury label Fear of God, U.S. premium denim brand Re/Done, and the 70-year-old Italian house Agnona. Notably, the luxury lifestyle shop Kiss Seoul, launched last year, drew more than 400,000 visitors within its first year.
A Hansem spokesperson said, "We will continue to scout overseas fashion brands that can set global trends and, together with domestic labels such as Time, Mine, and System, offer customers fresh experiences and distinctive value."
