On the 3rd, the Seoul branch of the Korea Federation of SMEs announced it signed a memorandum of understanding with fashion platform Musinsa at the SME DMC Tower in Sangam-dong to support small apparel manufacturers across Seoul.
The two organizations said the agreement aims to lay a practical foundation for sustainable growth by connecting Seoul-based garment makers with Musinsa sellers and offering Musinsa’s professional training programs. Both parties have committed to working together to make that happen.
Jung Kyung-eun, head of the Seoul branch of the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, “We strongly support Musinsa’s financial assistance programs for small business owners. We hope this partnership helps Seoul’s small garment manufacturers regain momentum and grow.”
Lee Jae-hwan, head of Musinsa’s headquarters, added that Musinsa’s long record of supporting independent fashion brands should open doors for collaboration between Seoul’s small manufacturers and emerging labels.
