Dongduk Women's University announced on the 28th that its modeling program successfully staged its 24th graduation fashion show, "OVERLAY," on the 24th.
The show served as the official graduation runway for students completing four years of training and featured collaborative collections and special performances. It was held at Pie Factory Studio, with creator Gunriver (MC Lee Geon-ho) co‑hosting the event.
Centered on the theme "OVERLAY," about 20 students translated the process of layering different elements into cohesive runway looks, building each piece through stacked textures and details.
Notable brands also took part. Five labels—Kaie, Phenomenon, Grails, designer Kwak Hyun-ju, and Florence Wedding—collaborated with the students to bring the runway presentations to life.

Faculty from the modeling major—department head Park Soon-hee and professors Jeong Sun-ok, Hong Seong-hee, Jeong Ju-yeon, and Park Myung-sun—attended, and family members and many guests filled the audience.
A representative from the modeling program said, "This graduation fashion show gave students a chance to showcase the skills they've honed over the years."
Dongduk Women's University has recently moved to expand opportunities for student development, including launching South Korea's first doctoral program in the modeling major. Dongduk is the only university in South Korea offering an integrated modeling education system that spans undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees.
