That day, Seo met up with senior actor Ryu Seung-soo, whom he'd grown close to after working on three projects together. Having watched Seo's meeting with weathercaster Jung Jae-kyung, Ryu advised him that on a first meeting you should make the woman laugh — wit is key.
Seo admitted he's attracted to someone who notices the small things. \"I always hope for someone who appreciates the little things,\" he said. \"When we talked, she kept saying 'thank you.' That made me like her,\" he added.
The pair then headed to a furniture store to look at beds and sofas. When Seo hesitated about which bed to choose, Ryu quipped that the most important purchase for newlyweds is the bed. \"Surprisingly, you spend more time in the bed than on the couch,\" he joked, making a 19+ (adult) remark, drawing laughs.
When Seo asked if married couples don't sleep holding each other, Ryu burst that bubble. \"Hold each other? Even if you hug and say 'I love you,' you drift apart once you fall asleep. That's marriage — you're just tired,\" he said, puncturing the romance. He then teased that Seo should bring Jae-kyung to pick the bed together, and joked he'd stop calling her 'Jae-kyung' and start calling her 'sister-in-law.'
