TV personality and U.S. attorney Seo Dong-ju celebrated her birthday during the very early stages of pregnancy and publicly expressed affection for her husband.
On the 28th, she posted on Instagram: "Today was my birthday. My husband took me to a great restaurant for a rare date despite his busy schedule—thank you."
She continued, "I sincerely thank everyone who always cherishes and supports my imperfect self. I used to think life was a solitary journey, but lately I've realized I haven't accomplished a single thing entirely on my own. That makes me want to live with more gratitude and to be someone who shares positive energy."
Seo married her partner, who is four years her junior, in June of last year. Her husband is a director at an entertainment company that represents figures such as broadcaster Jang Seong-gyu. The two grew close while Seo was active in broadcasting and later tied the knot.
She had previously said she struggled to conceive and underwent in vitro fertilization. She recently revealed that a gestational sac had been detected, but doctors advised continued monitoring, and she described the waiting period as difficult.
