Actress Park Jin-hee revealed she was targeted by an online shopping scam but, following advice from her husband — who serves as a judge — she reported it to police and recovered the funds.
On the 12th, KBS 2TV's 'Problem Children of the Rooftop' will air an episode featuring Park Jin-hee and Kim Hee-jung, who reunited 20 years after co-starring in the KBS2 daily drama 'Red Pearl'.
On the show, Park will recount her recent experience with an online shopping fraud.

She said she had been buying fewer clothes to be more environmentally conscious, but after several years she ordered a puffer jacket online. When it still hadn't arrived a month later and the seller stopped responding, she grew concerned.
Her husband, a judge five years her junior, suspected it was a scam and urged her to report it. Acting on his advice, Park went in person to the police investigative unit to file a complaint and ultimately had the money refunded.
The episode will also reveal the behind-the-scenes story of the Gulliver Phone commercial that helped change her career.
Park said she was cast as a last-minute replacement for Song Yoon-ah, who had been the director's first choice. The director had wanted Song for her chic, urban image, but when her appearance fell through the then-newcomer Park stepped in.
She recalled that after the Gulliver Phone ad aired, fan letters flooded in from soldiers, and she immediately felt a surge in popularity. The commercial propelled Park to stardom in advertising and helped establish her in the entertainment industry.
Park Jin-hee's account of overcoming the online scam and the story of her debut will air on 'Problem Children of the Rooftop' on the 12th at 8:30 p.m. KST.
