Comedian O Ji-heon (46), married for 18 years, is arranging a blind date for his father, who lives alone.
In a preview for TV Chosun's variety series "Joseon's Ladies' Man," airing at 10 p.m. on the 23rd, O Ji-heon — who joined the respected Haeju O comedy lineage that follows Sim Hyun-seop of the Cheongsong Sim family — drew attention with an unexpected announcement. Teaming with O Jung-tae and O Nami as the Haeju O line, he dropped what he called a bombshell: "This is a blind date for my dad." He praised O Jung-tae for scouting a match for his father, who is spending his twilight years alone. O Jung-tae quipped, "You really owe me a meal. This is incredible," and teased that he would bring a top-tier blind-date candidate.

O Jung-tae's 'Top-Tier' Blind-Date Pick
O Jung-tae showed the woman's photo only to O Nami beside him, saying, "She still looks like a high schooler. Doesn't your dad like pretty women? I fell for her at first sight." O Nami reacted with visible excitement, and O Ji-heon grew increasingly anxious. When he finally saw the photo, he couldn't stop himself from saying that the woman's striking swimsuit shots were "a little much" for his father. O Jung-tae added a tantalizing hint: "She's never been married," which only heightened curiosity about her identity.
She cared for her mother for 40 years — why is she going on a blind date?
In an interview with the production team, the woman explained, "I lived with my mother for 40 years," and said she devoted those years to caring for her. Now, she hopes to bring that same dedication to a new relationship.
The identity of the attractive woman set to meet O Ji-heon's father will be revealed in this episode of "Joseon's Ladies' Man."
