On May 10, the group shared the Version A concept photo for their third EP, I.O.I : LOOP, across their official social channels.
In the images, I.O.I projects an exotic atmosphere and a sense of confident freedom. Individual styling choices—each reflecting a distinct personality—align within the frame to create a polished visual balance that draws the eye. The members’ relaxed expressions and intense gazes hint at a bond that has only strengthened over the last decade.
With this release, I.O.I aims to craft a string of luminous moments with meticulous production. The lead single, "Suddenly," co-written by member Jeon So-mi, translates the sudden surges of longing that can hit amid a fast-paced life into a synth-pop soundscape. A dreamlike outro and an emotionally charged arc are designed to draw listeners in completely.
Several album tracks also reflect active input from the members, underscoring a more mature musical direction for the group.
Riding renewed excitement fueled by their distinctive visual chemistry, I.O.I will release their third mini album, I.O.I : LOOP, on the 19th at 6 p.m. on major online music platforms. They will kick off the Asia leg of their 2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP with three shows at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium from the 29th through the 31st.
