As of 9 a.m. on the 1st, Melon's tally showed Lim's cumulative streams had surpassed 13.8 billion. He reached the new milestone roughly 18 days after hitting 13.7 billion on April 13, when he became the platform's all-time leader in cumulative plays.
Within Melon's 'Diamond Club'—reserved for artists with more than 10 billion cumulative streams—Lim remains a dominant presence. Ongoing listener activity and steadfast fan support have widened his lead over competing artists.
Lim has drawn listeners across generations with a repertoire that spans ballads and trot. Each release posts steady streaming figures, underscoring his formidable standing on the charts.
