According to Star News on the 8th, Kwon Eunbi recently decided, after careful consideration, not to join Galaxy Corporation. The agency represents high-profile names including G‑Dragon, actor Song Kang‑ho, Kim Jong‑kook and SHINee’s Taemin.
Earlier, Kwon Eunbi had concluded her exclusive contract with her former agency, Woollim Entertainment. Despite positive discussions amid Galaxy Corporation’s active courtship, sources say the two sides could not bridge differences in the final details, and talks ultimately collapsed.
Woollim Entertainment announced on the 31st of last month that it had ended its exclusive contract with Kwon Eunbi, stating that after lengthy discussions the company and the artist mutually agreed to part ways while respecting each other’s positions. The agency expressed sincere gratitude to Kwon Eunbi for her continuous effort and for showing a wide range of performances during her time with them.
In a handwritten letter, Kwon Eunbi confirmed she had closed the chapter on the long-standing relationship with her agency. She called the journey—from her trainee days to the present—a precious and invaluable experience with people who devoted themselves to her. She added that whatever path lies ahead, she will move forward one step at a time, guided by what she has learned and the abundant love she has received from fans.
