Kim Soo-ro Calls for Hyun Bin and Kim Go-eun to Join the Stage: What’s Next for K-Drama Stars?

[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] On the April 8 episode of MBC's variety show Radio Star, veteran actor-producer Kim Soo-ro openly encouraged actors Hyun Bin and Kim Go-eun to join his stage productions.

The episode featured Kim Soo-ro alongside Um Ki-joon, Park Gun-hyung and Kim Hyeong-muk as guests.

Kim Soo-ro said he especially hopes his close junior Hyun Bin would take the stage, noting that Hyun Bin's presence would change the atmosphere.

He urged Hyun Bin to devote more attention to K-dramas and films for the country's industry, and added that if Hyun Bin ever hits a creative block or feels isolated in his acting, returning to the stage could be restorative.

Kim Soo-ro also revealed that, although he has never formally met her, he would love for actress Kim Go-eun to appear on stage and said he hopes she'll consider one of his productions.

When fellow panelist Kim Guk-jin asked, \"What if Hyun Bin does someone else's project?\" Kim Soo-ro joked that it wouldn't be ideal — \"Those actors could pay off all my debts.\"
