A document believed to be an ad-rate sheet for former Chungju municipal official Kim Seon-tae — whose YouTube channel topped 1.3 million subscribers within a week of launch — is circulating online.
On March 10, a file titled "Kim Seon-tae YouTube Channel Introduction" was shared on social media. The material reportedly outlines detailed fees for channel advertising and licensing collaborations.

According to the document, collaboration fees were listed as: branded content plus a highlights-shorts package at 100 million KRW (approximately $75,000); branded content at 80 million KRW (approximately $60,000); exclusive shorts content at 50 million KRW (approximately $37,500); and simple product placement (PPL) at 30 million KRW (approximately $22,500). The sheet also notes these rates apply to contracts signed within one month and that prices may vary depending on contract timing or changes in subscriber numbers.
A social-media user who identified themself as a marketer said, "Someone posted the Kim Seon-tae channel brochure in a group chat, and the ad rates were quite high. Given the current buzz, they looked reasonable to people in the industry."
There has been no confirmation that the document was produced by Kim Seon-tae’s team.
Meanwhile, Kim’s channel has shown rapid growth. A video explaining why he started the channel has drawn millions of views, and a video outlining his plans to mark 1 million subscribers also attracted high view counts.
In a recent upload, Kim said, "It hasn’t been long since I started the channel, and I already hit 1 million subscribers," adding that he’d heard the growth was "very fast." He also sparked conversation by saying he plans to allocate YouTube earnings after costs as 70% for himself and 30% for donations.
