[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] Kim Seok-hoon recounted a past burglary on his channel.
On March 4, in episode 132 of his YouTube channel 'My Trash Uncle,' Kim said a thief once stole a stone ring from him just before he planned to take some gold and silver to a jeweler. He also recalled living in a house with the gate open when he came face-to-face with a stranger who turned out to be the intruder.
He said he was targeted again while living in an apartment. After returning from a trip, he found his home ransacked and was particularly unnerved to see a knife left in the middle of the living room. That experience prompted him to keep a German steel axe under his bed.
On the show, he also discussed personal finance, urging diversification across real estate, stocks, gold and cash. He noted that appearance fees rarely rise easily.
He recalled buying gold for his child's first-birthday celebration, which later appreciated significantly and produced a healthy return. He said he recently sold off some spare gold he had been keeping at home and plans to donate a portion of the proceeds.
