[SPOTV News reporter Bae Sun-young] Kim Ji-young, the influencer who rose to fame on Heart Signal, made her husband’s first public appearance, prompting Kim Gura to quip that he already “sees room for fights down the line.”
On the 7th episode of SBS’s series Same Bed, Different Dreams: You Are My Destiny, Kim Ji-young and her husband Yoon Soo-young appeared as guests.
Kim said, “When we first met, I could tell he really liked me. At first I thought I should keep my distance. I turned him down several times—more than 10—before agreeing to meet.” Yoon laughed, “I don’t get stressed by rejection,” drawing laughter from the studio.
She added that she eventually felt guilty for rejecting him and agreed to meet. “He was better than I expected—quirky and full of bouncy charm. The more we live together, the clearer and more singularly himself he seems.” Yoon replied, “She calls me unique, but as you can see, I really am a very special person.”
The couple, just 2 months into their marriage, displayed fresh newlywed affection. They fell asleep holding each other face-to-face and, upon waking, didn’t hesitate to lavish each other with affection, which sent the studio into an uproar.
But when they playfully squabbled over their morning supplements, Kim Gura warned, “I can see room for fights later.”
Kim Ji-young is best known from Heart Signal, and Yoon Soo-young is the founder of the reading-focused platform Trevari.
