On the 9th, Story J Company announced that, after careful discussions with Kim Da-som, they had decided not to renew her contract.
The agency thanked Kim for accompanying them over the past five years and described the split as a graceful parting. They wished her well as she embarks on a new chapter and asked fans to follow her future steps with interest and warm support.
Kim has broadened her range by taking on diverse genres and fresh characters in series such as KBS1’s Love Rides the Song, KBS2’s The Unusual Daughter-in-Law, SBS’s My Sister Is Alive, tvN’s The Psychometry Guy, and JTBC’s Did We Love?
She also made notable appearances in projects including tvN’s Is It a Coincidence?, MBC’s Kkokdu’s Season, and ENA’s Salon de Holmes. Most recently on Channel A’s A Baby Is Coming, she portrayed Hwang Mi-ran with subtle emotional depth, bringing the character to life. Through steady work, Kim Da-som has solidified her standing as an actress, and her next moves are drawing considerable interest and expectation.
