Multiple outlets reported on March 10 that an employee of the agency that once represented actor-singer Jang Nara was found dead, and that Jang had already left the agency last year.
According to the reports, the staffer was discovered on the afternoon of March 9 with a suicide note. Police who responded to the scene are investigating the circumstances. One outlet added that the agency had been involved in disputes related to investment issues.
Although the deceased was identified as an agency staffer, Jang’s representatives said she had signed an exclusive contract with the firm in early last year and terminated it in August. Jang currently works with a personal manager.
Meanwhile, Jang is slated to return this year in SBS’s new drama, "Good Partner 2."
