Singer-producer Park Jin‑young (J.Y. Park) is stepping down from his position as an inside director at JYP Entertainment.

On March 10, JYP Entertainment announced that Park will not seek reappointment as an inside director at the shareholder meeting scheduled for March 26.
The agency said Park will focus on his creative work as an artist, mentor emerging talent, and pursue new external initiatives to support the K-pop industry.
Since debuting in 1994, Park has worked as a singer, songwriter and producer. He founded JYP Entertainment and helped develop acts such as TWICE and Stray Kids. He currently serves as the company's chief creative officer (CCO), overseeing music production and artist development. Last year, he co‑chaired the Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange.
