tvN's After-School Teacher Taeri has held steady in the ratings, posting viewership in the 1% range for three consecutive weeks.
Episode 4 of the tvN variety show After-School Teacher Taeri, airing at 7:40 p.m. on the 15th, brings Code Kunst in as the after-school drama club’s music director. He’s set to generate lively chemistry with first-time teachers Kim Tae-ri, Choi Hyun-wook and Kangnam.
Code Kunst arrives at the lodging as a VIP, greeted warmly by Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook. He previously held a video conference with Kim to discuss composing music for the play The Wizard of Oz, and he plans to debut the theatrical score he prepared—an unveiling that promises memorable reactions from the teachers.
Choi Hyun-wook, Kangnam and Code Kunst then launch a spirited contest to claim the camper parked in the lodging yard. A ladder game will determine the lucky winner, but just before the result is announced, Choi—who has long dreamed of the RV—and Kangnam—who’s eager to sleep alone after a while—swap their choices, setting up a deal whose outcome viewers will be watching closely.
The episode also captures the trio’s first joint class. Kim, Choi and Kangnam (nicknamed “Polar Teacher”) will stage and rehearse scenes from the script with the assigned students, treating the practice like a real stage performance and showcasing the rookie teachers’ growth.
Beginning with the new semester, an actual after-school drama club will open at Mungyeong Yongheung Elementary School, where Kim, Choi, Kangnam and Code Kunst made memories with seven children. Classes kick off in earnest at the end of March, underscoring the warm influence of After-School Teacher Taeri.
