MBC Every1 and E Channel’s new variety series Dolsing N Mosol premieres at 10 p.m. on April 14. The program places divorced women who know the bitter side of love together with men who have never dated before in a so-called "dating boarding school" as they search for genuine romance. Known for her cool, unaffected charm, Chae Jung-an joins Kim Poong and Nucksal as one of the three hosts, generating considerable interest.

Making her debut as a dating-show host on Dolsing N Mosol, Chae said she hadn't been a regular viewer of romantic reality TV, but her friends talked about those shows so much that she sometimes felt left out and thought, "Maybe I should watch them too." Right after she had that thought, the offer arrived like fate. She added that the moment she saw the show's concept, she was certain, "This is the dating show I should start with!" She felt there couldn't be a fresher or more intriguing format, and that conviction became the decisive reason she accepted the role.

On the program, Chae will act as an empathetic voice, offering warm comfort and practical advice. When commenting, she said she focused primarily on "courage" and "consideration." In any relationship—including romantic ones—she believes courage and consideration are essential. She wanted to support the divorced women who must find the courage to reopen their hearts after being hurt, as well as the never-dated men taking their first steps into love. To that end, she tried to stay fully present and genuinely empathize with the participants, encouraging them at every turn.

She also emphasized consideration when discussing how the relationships might develop. If, when we love, we try even once to see things from the other person's perspective and act considerately, she argued, there is little we cannot understand. She's eager to see how Dolsing N Mosol's two-way romances—between participants who have loved before and those who haven't—will unfold as they learn to understand and connect with one another.

Asked about the chemistry between the divorced women and the never-dated men, Chae was confident and urged viewers to see it for themselves. She said she was surprised by how different some participants could be by day and by night, and that the experience repeatedly drove home how varied people's core values and tendencies can be.

She noted that even without a sensational, high-stimulation "spicy" setup, the show remains highly immersive and produces moments of explosive chemistry, which made it exciting to watch throughout. Some participants completely shattered her preconceptions about never-dated men, she said, and at times she realized she couldn't rely on intuition alone—lessons that only piqued her curiosity further.

Finally, Chae praised her co-hosts Kim Poong and Nucksal, calling their pairing a refreshingly new combination and saying they added smart back-and-forth to her freer hosting style. Above all, she said the three of them felt like real viewers gathered at a friend's home rather than people in a studio, and their chemistry was so strong that after the first recording she found herself thinking, "Is it already over?" Her comments raised expectations for the trio's promising synergy.
