On a recent episode of MBC's Manito Club, Jung Hae-in baked Dubai chewy cookies for his manito, Ko Yoon-jung. He admitted he was struggling with the recipe, saying, \"There's a reason they're so expensive — they require a lot of hands-on work.\" He carefully wrapped the cookies and called a nearby acquaintance.
Jung asked Dex for a favor: to deliver the Dubai chewy cookies and some coffee, since he couldn't leave because of a commercial shoot. Dex agreed and arrived dressed like a deliveryman, complete with a helmet.
Jung asked him to stop at nearby cafes to pick up a peach parfait, coffee, and a peach bingsu for Ko. Excited at the chance to see her, Dex set off and reminisced about their time together on Manito Club.
Dex recalled, \"Our team spent about four or five days together, so we really bonded. We kept exchanging gifts afterward — I even prepared something I thought Jennie would like. The shoot was fun, even after it wrapped.\"
After buying the drinks and placing them in the trunk, he drove off. While practicing his lines, a car abruptly cut in front of him and he slammed the horn to avoid a collision — a near-miss that jolted the camera and startled viewers. Although visibly upset, Dex restrained himself from swearing, clamping his mouth shut and composing himself, revealing a quieter, more controlled side. The crew member filming beside him did utter a surprise expletive, which drew attention.
It turned out the other driver had merged without signaling. Dex said, \"That person... what were they thinking? That sudden stop probably spilled all the coffee. I don't know if they were older, younger, or the same age, but that's really not acceptable.\"
When he opened the trunk at the destination, every drink had spilled, leaving Dex stunned.
