[MyDaily = Reporter Han So-hee] Kim Garam, a former member of the group LE SSERAFIM, has launched a personal YouTube channel and shared a new update.
On March 13, Kim opened the YouTube channel 'garamonly' and uploaded her first video. The channel drew immediate attention, reaching 10,000 subscribers within an hour. Fans and the public are closely watching her return after a long hiatus from activities.

In the video, Kim turns on a camera in a practice room and says she started the channel to record acting clips and share aspects of her daily life. She admitted she has little experience filming this type of content and feels awkward, but asked viewers to watch with understanding.

The footage captures a variety of everyday moments: practicing lines at home, casual snippets filmed on her phone, and studying in a university library. It presents her as an ordinary college student balancing rehearsal and academics.

Kim is reportedly enrolled in the Department of Media Acting at Konkuk University's College of Arts and Design. Sources say she has been taking acting classes and practicing privately as she prepares to pursue work as an actress.
Kim debuted with LE SSERAFIM in 2022 but was quickly caught up in controversy after allegations of school bullying emerged. The accusers claimed a school disciplinary committee found her responsible and imposed a level-five sanction, which intensified the backlash.
As the controversy continued, Kim suspended activities just 18 days after her debut and officially left the group in July of that year. She stayed out of the entertainment spotlight afterward, sharing only occasional updates on social media.
The launch of her YouTube channel has renewed interest in what direction Kim Garam will take next.
