On the March 14 broadcast of Hangout with Yoo?, Heo made his debut as a full-time cast member.
Dressed in a tuxedo to mark the occasion, Heo said, \"It felt like a long three months. I'm very grateful,\" and bowed deeply to the audience.
Yoo Jae-suk noted that many viewers had been asking why Kyung-hwan hadn't been made a member sooner. Fellow castmate Haha congratulated him, saying, \"The viewers made this happen.\"
Asked how his mother reacted, Heo recalled her joking, \"Did you pay 600,000 KRW to get a spot?\" (approximately $450). He added, half-joking, that his popularity surged the day after he spent money, then quickly denied it, smiling that it wasn't true.
Joo Woo-jae ribbed him, \"Now that you're a regular, are you feeling more pressure? You started ignoring us the moment you became permanent.\" Heo defended himself, saying there are many things he'd like to try.
Haha laughed, recalling, \"Last week when you weren't here we ate without you. You told us to trust you — now that the pressure's off, you say you'll just do whatever.\"
When the show asked an AI how it felt about Heo joining, it responded bluntly, \"Why would he go there?\" which sent the room into laughter.
Yoo teased, \"Haven't you been updated yet? Heo Kyung-hwan just became a regular.\" The AI shot back, \"What are you talking about? Tell him to wipe the sweat from between his nose and upper lip,\" delivering a sharp retort.
Heo joked that he wanted to confront the AI directly. \"Tell it to come out — lend me five minutes later. I need to have a proper fight with it. I'm done for,\" he said with mock resignation.
