Seo Eun-hye and Jo Young-nam unveiled a gallery-like café.
On the afternoon of the 31st, SBS’s reality series Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 — You Are My Destiny aired a segment chronicling the couple’s daily life, and the café’s opening day finally arrived.
The space that had been under renovation was transformed into a bright, colorful café. Cast members watching the reveal couldn’t stop praising the makeover — “Oh my!”, “They did such a great job,” “It looks like a gallery,” and “I love how clean it is.”
The first guest to arrive was chef Lee Dong-jun, better known as French Papa. Seo and Jo greeted him warmly — he’s been a big help to them — and he presented a bouquet with a congratulatory hug, creating a warm moment.

But French Papa tempered the celebration with a warning: “I brought flowers partly to celebrate, but today might not be as beautiful as these flowers. Today could be a scary test.” His remark raised the tension.
All eyes turned to the question of investment and interior costs. Seo’s father revealed they’d started with a basic interior estimate of 40,000,000 KRW (approximately $30,000), but after extras it ended up costing about 80,000,000 KRW (approximately $60,000). The figure surprised everyone.
French Papa ran the numbers aloud: “Personally, I think you should recoup 80,000,000 KRW (approximately $60,000) within three years. Divide that by three, and you need to earn 30,000,000 KRW (approximately $22,500) a year. That means aiming for a net profit of 3,000,000 KRW (approximately $2,250) per month. If net profit is roughly 20% of revenue, you should target monthly sales of 15,000,000 KRW (approximately $11,250), which comes out to about 750,000 KRW (approximately $563) a day.” His back‑of‑the‑envelope math drew further surprise from the studio.
