[Herald Economy = Reporter Kim Bo-young] Jisoo of K-pop group BLACKPINK has an older sister who will compete on a new fashion competition series.CJ ENM released a teaser on April 24 highlighting contestants from tvN’s new reality series Kill It: Style Creator Battle (hereafter Kill It).
Kill It is CJ ENM’s first fashion competition in 10 years. 100 contestants — including brand ambassadors, models and influencers — will vie for a single title: style icon.
Among the participants is influencer Kim Ji-yoon, Jisoo’s older sister, who drew attention in the teaser for her distinctive looks and styling among the 100 contestants.
Kim previously appeared on ENA’s seller-competition show Super Seller. She said she is a former Korean Air flight attendant and added, "I also worked as a telecom customer service representative and was ranked No. 1 for friendliness."
Asked whether being from a well-known girl-group family felt burdensome, she dismissed the idea: "She's my sister, so I don't feel pressured. I can't change how I was born, and I think Jisoo would just enjoy it."
Meanwhile, Kill It premieres on May 12.
