On May 1, BIGBANG posted a poster titled 'BIGBANG OFFICIAL 6th V.I.P COMING SOON' on its official social channels, announcing the relaunch of its official fan club roughly 11 years after the fifth recruitment in 2015.

The poster highlighted the Bang-bong (BIGBANG's official light stick), a symbol of the bond between the group and V.I.P. Dozens of light sticks shimmered in the dark, suggesting a renewed wave of yellow and stoking anticipation for the group's 20th-anniversary project.

The sixth recruitment will be conducted through BIGBANG’s official community on the global fandom platform Bstage. YG Entertainment urged fans to look forward to a new 20th-anniversary chapter the group and V.I.P. will create together.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG is set to begin a world tour this August.
