Swings addressed rumors that he had no sperm.

On the 9th, Swings appeared as a guest on the SBS variety show No, But Seriously!

He said that about eight years ago he made a firm decision: he would never have children, so he went to the hospital and had a vasectomy. Swings publicly dated actress Im Bora in 2017; the couple split in 2020 after three years. The timing of the procedure overlaps with his relationship with Im Bora.

But two years ago his feelings changed. He said he suddenly wanted children — not because he intended to start a family right away, but because, perhaps due to hormones, kids just started to look cute to him.

Swings said he later underwent a vasectomy reversal. He recalled feeling awkward during the procedure because of the position he had to hold. He had hoped the nurses would be men, but they were all women, and one even told him she was a fan right before the surgery, which made the moment more uncomfortable. Afterward he was in a lot of pain, yet he still signed an autograph, he added.

When he visited another hospital to confirm the reversal had taken, he said the restroom was shared with other offices and he hid his face because he worried someone might recognize him.

He said the rumors began after he posted a short clip to YouTube and was mocked online, with people calling him a \"seedless watermelon.\" At his first test, doctors reportedly saw only about eight sperm and warned that having children could be difficult. They told him to come back in six months. But a test two months ago showed a significant increase in his sperm count, he said.
