The teaser, promoting the April 1 broadcast, shows host Yoo Jae-suk asking about difficult periods in life. Suhyun recalled, \"I spent a long time without seeing sunlight.\"
Her brother, Lee Chanhyuk, said it must have looked very hard for their family to watch, though Suhyun herself hadn't recognized how unwell she was at the time.
In a separate interview with the production team, Suhyun described shutting herself in her room and living like a hikikomori. Playing games and ordering delivery food became her daily routine. She kept the curtains drawn and didn’t want to know whether it was day or night.
She added that she binged every single day, and the rapid weight gain left her feeling as if her body were tearing apart. \"At that time, I even thought, 'I don't have a better future,'\" she confessed — a revelation that drew sympathy.
