Contemporary brand SATUR opened its flagship store, 'Satur House Bukchon', in Bukchon, Jongno‑gu, Seoul. Actress Lee Min‑jung and singer Choi Lip‑woo, the brand's exclusive models, attended the opening.
The store is designed as a place where people can experience the brand up close in everyday life and grasp SATUR's message under the theme \"A New Saturday Experience.\"
The interior was planned with Bukchon's unique mix of traditional Korean culture and contemporary sensibility in mind, also taking into account the neighborhood's high number of international visitors.
With the concept of a \"space where time overlaps,\" the design interprets the aesthetics of the Gyeongseong era—a transitional period leading from late‑19th‑century modernization into the modern age—through SATUR's distinct lens. The overall mood emphasizes modern structure, proportion, and a restrained Western sensibility, while decorative elements and details celebrate Korean cultural aesthetics.
SATUR is also launching a ritual campaign that invites visitors to live the brand's message. For its first campaign, the brand teamed up with Lisbon tea house Companhia Portuguesa do Chá to create collaborative items inspired by the idea of a \"Saturday Tea House.\"
Four Lisbon‑inspired pieces—a summer graphic T‑shirt, a classic small‑logo rivet hoodie, a logo baseball cap, and a contrast five‑panel cap—will be available exclusively at Satur House Bukchon and SATUR's official online store.
Exclusive items that reinterpret the area's blend of tradition and modernity from SATUR's perspective are also available. Collaborations include a Sodam cup made with Ido Ceramics, a brand that modernizes Korean pottery, along with moon jars and scented pouches that richly capture traditional aesthetics—offering a distinct Bukchon‑only experience.
To celebrate the opening, SATUR is offering promotions: 5% off the 26SS collection and a 10% discount for multiple‑item purchases. Exclusive gifts will be given on a first‑come, first‑served basis based on purchase amount: a teacup for the first 60 customers spending 200,000 KRW (approximately $150), a scented pouch for the first 30 customers spending 300,000 KRW (approximately $225), and a moon jar for the first 10 customers spending 500,000 KRW (approximately $375).
