Designer Lee Seong-bin’s label, WHYSOCEREALZ, announced on the 10th that it will host a pop-up in AK Plaza Bundang’s Contemporary Zone on the 4th floor through May 31.
Known for bold, experimental presentations at major runways like New York, Vancouver, and Seoul Fashion Weeks, WHYSOCEREALZ fuses art and fashion. The AK Plaza Bundang pop-up aims to showcase the brand’s artistic identity while testing its commercial potential and expanding connections with shoppers across the Seoul metropolitan area.
The store opening on the 28th was more than a ribbon-cutting—it was a cultural program designed to immerse visitors in the brand’s world. The event featured an exhibition with artists Mosfly, Hanan Ben Simon, and Bae In-gyeong, plus Mosfly’s live painting and a dance performance.
Using this retail debut, WHYSOCEREALZ plans to bring its design work and artist-collaboration content into a physical space, reinforcing a customer-experience–focused store strategy.
Lee Seong-bin said, “I wanted the store to reflect WHYSOCEREALZ’s identity—expanding fashion beyond garments into narrative and artistic expression. We’ll continue to present distinctive content through collaborations with a wide range of artists.”
