On March 10, the Korea Creative Content Agency (acting president Yoo Hyun-seok, hereafter KOCCA) said that, together with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it hosted Concept Korea 2026 F/W at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris on March 2–3.

Concept Korea is a fashion development program that helps promising Korean designer brands expand overseas. By aligning its schedule with major fashion weeks in the world’s style capitals, the program gives labels a platform to debut new collections and strengthens K-fashion’s competitiveness on the international stage.

Three standout Korean labels — KIMHĒKIM, RE RHEE, and BONBOM — hit the Paris runway to showcase K-fashion’s distinct voice. On March 2, KIMHĒKIM staged a solo show that won praise for reinterpreting French couture techniques through the brand’s own aesthetic. On March 3, RE RHEE and BONBOM presented a joint showcase: RE RHEE offered a contemporary reimagining of traditional garments, while BONBOM paired contrasting materials in sculptural, three-dimensional combinations. Both drew positive feedback from local industry insiders.

Beyond the designers’ successful runways, support from a global ambassador amplified the event’s buzz. The group ALPHA DRIVE ONE, chosen as Concept Korea’s ambassador, attended the full program and helped promote K-fashion. Their presence attracted Paris-based media and attendees, creating a ripple effect that expanded K-fashion’s public recognition.

Yoo Hyun-seok, KOCCA’s acting president, said, "This event reaffirmed K-fashion’s creativity and competitiveness on the global stage. We will continue to provide structured support so domestic designer brands can broaden their presence around the world."
