[Reporter Choi Hyung-seok] Gentle Monster topped the eyewear brand reputation chart for March 2026.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 15,646,320 consumer big-data mentions related to eyewear brands collected from Feb. 9 to Mar. 9 and crowned Gentle Monster the leader. That figure represents a 9.01% increase from the previous month’s 14,352,877 mentions.
The brand reputation index is derived from online reactions—consumer engagement, communication and community activity—by combining the engagement, communication and community scores.
March’s rankings placed Gentle Monster first, followed by Blue Elephant, Chanel, Tom Ford, Oakley, Lash, Silhouette, Gucci, Moscot, Prada, Dior, Ray-Ban, Rieti, Anne Valentin and Black Monster.
Gentle Monster posted an engagement score of 2,051,721, a communication score of 566,577 and a community score of 493,067, giving it a brand reputation index of 3,111,365 — a 5.00% increase from February’s 2,963,232.
Blue Elephant ranked second with a brand reputation index of 1,397,824, down 24.10% from last month’s 1,841,550. Chanel came in third with 1,072,571, up 22.84% from February’s 873,179.
Tom Ford ranked fourth with 1,002,315, and Oakley ranked fifth with 733,869 in the brand reputation index.
Gu Chang-hwan, head of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “Gentle Monster ranked first in our March eyewear brand big-data analysis.” He added that overall category big data rose 9.01% month-on-month, brand consumption increased 5.29%, brand communication rose 18.96%, and brand diffusion grew 9.64%.
