□ Woori Financial Hosts 'Sports Day' for Underprivileged Children
Woori Financial Group marked Children's Day on May 5 by hosting a community outreach event, Woori Dream Sports Day, welcoming 200 underprivileged children from the Gyeongin area. Athletes from Woori’s basketball, volleyball, shooting and billiards teams served as mentors for the day. The children participated in athlete-led activities and games, including a moving basketball-hoop challenge, a big-ball volleyball challenge, a shooting-score match-up and mini pocket-billiards lessons. They also received gifts for completing missions, turning the day into a memorable celebration. Woori Financial used the occasion to announce the launch of Woori Dream Bridge 2026·2036, a long-term initiative to develop future national-team athletes. In partnership with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, the program will select 40 promising athletes from lesser-known sports each year and provide training and medical support.
