Quatre is built on four original design codes that run through Boucheron’s historical archive. Double Godron, drawn from 1860s architectural details, stands for eternal love. Clou de Paris, inspired by the cobblestones of Place Vendôme, is a nod to the maison’s historic home. That foundation is paired with the house’s hallmark diamond settings—the essence of its craftsmanship—and the Grosgrain motif, which traces back to Frédéric Boucheron’s family textile business. Together, these codes create Boucheron’s unmistakable aesthetic.
The making of Quatre is a point of pride for the house. Artisans first craft four separate bands, then bring them together with nanometer-level precision. The little “click” heard during the final hand assembly marks a flawless union. Boucheron marries these time-honored handcraft techniques with contemporary digital processes—like turning—to achieve a level of fineness that would be hard to reach by hand alone.
A Boucheron representative said, “The Quatre collection honors our heritage while we continue to push innovation forward. We hope wearers experience Quatre’s strong, graphic appeal through the newly launched Quatre XS and the Black Edition small bangle.”
