Frédéric Malle is a French brand that calls itself a \"perfume publisher.\" Its perfumers are given free rein—no tight deadlines or marketing briefs—and they compose scents with the creative freedom of authors, resulting in a distinctive, original collection.

The brand’s signature, Portrait of a Lady, is a rose-forward fragrance that neatly sums up its artistic perfume philosophy.

Kilian Paris was founded by a member of the Hennessy cognac family. Founder Kilian Hennessy translates his olfactory memories and artistic impulses into fragrances, giving the brand a unique identity. Its five collections—Fresh, Narcotic, Cellar, Smoke, and Liquor—include the famously sweet Love, Don’t Be Shy.

To celebrate the new arrivals, Alluxe has created a tasting space at Salon de Alluxe, an experiential luxury pop-up currently running in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, where visitors can sample both houses firsthand.

This move follows last year’s Art of Luxury exhibition, a collaboration with the Seoul Museum of Art. Back then, Alluxe paired artworks with fragrances to create a standout customer experience; this time it plans to go beyond simple sampling and bring each brand’s artistic story to life.
