[Tour Korea = Reporter Yoo Kyung-hoon] On May 5, for Children's Day, kids joined the Challenge Golden Bell quiz — a special event held at the 49th Boseong Dahyang Festival.

The Boseong Dahyang Festival, South Korea's flagship tea culture celebration, opened on May 1 under the slogan "Boseong Matcha! Capturing Youth, Embracing the World!"

This year’s lineup blended traditional tea culture with modern flair. Hands-on programs — from Boseong tea-making and green therapy to green-tea foot baths and the Da-shinje flag parade — gave visitors fresh, immersive ways to connect with tea culture and drew enthusiastic crowds.

The festival wraps up on May 5.

A Boseong County official said the Golden Week holiday helped push attendance beyond expectations from day one, and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the programs. "We'll do our best to make sure visitors can safely savor the rich flavor of Boseong tea and soak up the springtime atmosphere through the festival's final day," the official added.
