[iNews24 Reporter So Jin-seop] Yeongdong County in North Chungcheong Province has finalized the schedule for its three major festivals this year.
On the 25th, the Yeongdong County Culture & Tourism Foundation announced that the 15th Korea Wine Festival will run June 11–14 at the Yeongdongcheon riverside parking area.
This year’s festival will be a special celebration marking the 30th anniversary of Yeongdong’s wine industry, focused on imagining its future.

Visitors can look forward to wine tastings and sales booths, busking performances, hands-on wine workshops and more—designed to give guests a taste of travel excitement.
This summer's flagship agricultural event, the 2026 Yeongdong Grape Festival, will take place Aug. 27–30 at the Rainbow Healing Tourist Area.
The festival will promote Yeongdong’s premium grapes with grape markets and local specialty stalls, grape-picking activities and grape-stomping experiences.
In the fall, the 57th Yeongdong Nangye Gugak Festival — celebrating the beauty and energy of traditional Korean music — will be held Oct. 15–18 at the Rainbow Healing Tourist Area.
It will feature traditional gugak performances, interactive gugak programs, a street parade and a range of cultural and arts events.
Jang In-hong, secretary-general of the Culture & Tourism Foundation, said, “We hope many visitors come to Yeongdong to enjoy the festivals and find a little healing while they’re here.”
