Hanwha Eagles slugger Kang Baek-ho drove a ball into the KIA Tigers’ home-run zone and walked away with a Kia Seltos — the prize car valued at 30 million KRW (approximately $22,500).
On the 7th at Gwangju’s Kia Champions Field in a 2026 KBO matchup against the Tigers, Kang led off the top of the eighth with Hanwha up 10-3. He ripped Lee Hyung-beom’s inside slider on a 2-ball count.
The drive traveled 120 m (about 394 ft) and slammed into the home-run zone set up in the right-field grass seats.
KIA runs a home-run zone in the outfield with a display car and awards the vehicle to any player — home or visiting — who puts a ball into the zone. This year’s prize is a Seltos.
Entering the game, Kang was hitting .289 with five homers and 35 RBIs in 32 games.
