Yesan County has rolled out an integrated tourism platform to make visiting simpler and more accessible for travelers.
The county says the platform was developed for the 2026 “Visit Chungnam Year.” A trial run began on March 26, and the platform will officially launch on April 1.
Yesan has been expanding stay-focused tourism around major spots like the Yedangho Suspension Bridge, Sudeoksa Temple, Chungui-sa Shrine, Chusa’s Old House, Yesan Stork Park, and Naepo Bobusang Village, along with accommodations such as Good Rural Experience World and the Bongsusan Natural Recreation Forest.
Until now, each attraction and lodging ran separate websites, scattering information and making planning inconvenient. To address that, the county completely revamped its cultural tourism site and centralized all tourism information in one place.
The new platform includes a feature called “Snap and Go! Yesan Travel Scheduler” that lets visitors build their own itineraries. It also uses a map-based interface so attractions, rural experiences, restaurants, and places to stay are visible at a glance.
The platform will regularly share culture and tourism updates on festivals and events. It also links video content for each site so visitors can preview key sights and the on-site vibe before they go.
The county expects the platform to improve tourists’ access to information and raise satisfaction. Officials believe it will also help boost stay-focused tourism by connecting attractions, experiences, lodging, dining, and festivals.
Visitors can access the integrated tourism platform via the Yesan County official website’s culture and tourism menu or by searching “Yesan County culture tourism” or “Yesan County tourism.”
A county official said, “We’ve laid the groundwork so visitors can plan trips to Yesan more easily and conveniently. We will keep enhancing visitor-focused services to showcase Yesan’s appeal as a destination for stay-based tourism.”
