Choi Yoon-nyung, who shot to fame on TVING's buzzy dating series Transit Love 4, ended up in a Thai hospital after a wild pig bit her during a trip to Thailand.
On the 22nd, Choi uploaded a video to her YouTube channel 'Hello Yoon-nyung' titled "Bitten by a Pig in Thailand and Rushed to the Hospital | Koh Samui VLOG," where she walked viewers through the terrifying moment.
The incident took place on Koh Samui at the popular tourist spot locals call "Pig Island." Choi had been spending a quiet afternoon on the beach, feeding and interacting with the pigs, when a mother pig suddenly lunged. The sow charged as if demanding more food and clamped down hard on Choi's leg.
Startled by the sudden pain, Choi screamed and burst into tears, and the crew had to stop filming. She recalled, "I was trying to feed them, and it bit my leg like it wanted the food faster. I'm not exaggerating — it hurt so much I cried." Still, she tried to lighten the mood for fans with a wry joke: "I'll have pork belly for dinner tonight."
As the swelling around the wound got worse and bruising from the bite marks appeared, Choi went to a local hospital to prevent secondary problems such as infection from a wild animal or tetanus.
After treatment, Choi explained, "These are wild island pigs, so we don't know what they've eaten — I had to take antibiotics. It's my first time getting five injections at once; it was painful." Fans responded with concerned but relieved messages like, "You can't let your guard down around animals at tourist spots," and "Glad it wasn't more serious."
Meanwhile, since appearing on Transit Love 4, Choi has won viewers over with her honest, confident charm and now stays active as a creator who connects with her audience.
