Yesan County will launch the 2026 Yesan City Tour Bus starting on the 28th of this month, making it easier to explore the area's top sights. The service is designed to streamline visitor travel and better connect Yesan’s signature attractions.

After gauging traveler preferences for the seasonal routes introduced in 2025, the county revamped this year’s lineup into a more complete offering. The spring route runs from March through May and stops at Chusa's Old House (Chusagotaek), Sudeoksa Temple, the Yedang tourist area, and the Yesan permanent market. The Yedang Lake suspension bridge and the Yesan permanent market are standard on all seasonal routes, ensuring visitors don't miss Yesan’s highlights.

Each city tour includes a cultural-tourism guide who brings the sites to life with in-depth commentary. For smaller groups, tourist taxis are available and can be booked to match travelers’ schedules — choose from 6-, 8-, or 10-hour options. By offering both year-round taxi tours and scheduled bus tours, the county aims to give visitors more flexibility.

Bus tours run free once every Saturday, and the county subsidizes 50% of taxi tour fares. Prices are set at ₩60,000 (about $45) for six hours, ₩75,000 (about $56.25) for eight hours, and ₩90,000 (about $67.50) for ten hours. Admission fees, meals, and travel insurance are the responsibility of the visitor.

Visitors can reserve the bus tour online through the county's cultural tourism website or by phone; tourist taxis can be booked by phone through the tourist information center. The county says it hopes to boost visitor satisfaction and stimulate the local economy by connecting regional attractions more efficiently.

A county official said, "We expect the Yesan City Tour to make it easier for visitors to explore Yesan's main attractions. We will continue developing diverse tourism programs and do our best to revitalize tourism in Yesan."
