KT Rolster defeated Kiwoom DRX to reach 10 wins this season.
KT beat Kiwoom 2–1 on the afternoon of the 14th at the LCK Arena in Grand Seoul Roll Park, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The victory made KT the third team to hit 10 wins this season, following Hanwha Life Esports (11–1) and Gen.G Esports (10–3). KT improves to 10–3 with a +11 game differential.
Kiwoom, meanwhile, suffered a third straight loss and fell to 3–10 on the year.
In Game 1, KT seized the initiative behind 'Cuzz' Moon Woo-chan’s Pantheon, who picked up kills across the map early. Cuzz then cleaned up three kills in a 15-minute mid-river skirmish.
KT stretched the global gold lead beyond 10,000 and dominated the fight around Kiwoom’s mid Tier 3 turret at 23 minutes. Riding that momentum, KT dismantled Kiwoom’s twin turrets and nexus to take a 1–0 lead.
After dropping Game 2, KT opened Game 3 by winning a 2v2 bottom skirmish. At 11 minutes they took down 'Andil' Moon Kwan-bin’s Lux. In the 15-minute objective fight, KT picked off two Kiwoom players, and at 20 minutes on the bottom river, Cuzz’s Naafiri finished off 'Ucal' Son Woo-hyun’s Cassiopeia.
At 26 minutes, KT scored a decisive victory near the bottom Rift Scuttler when 'Perfect' Lee Seung-min’s Zahen logged two kills. KT secured the Earth Dragon soul but then suffered a heavy loss in the ensuing Baron fight.
KT regrouped at 31 minutes, cleaning up three retreating Kiwoom players in mid. After taking down Kiwoom’s mid structure, KT swept four kills in the 33-minute mid fight. With control established, KT closed the game at 34 minutes by destroying Kiwoom’s nexus.
