The Uiwang City Boys and Girls Choir took the stage at the 46th Korea Choral Festival at the National Theater's Haeoreum Theater, delivering a polished, high-quality choral performance.
Uiwang City said on May 12 that the Korea Choral Federation organized the festival, which is the country's premier choral event bringing outstanding ensembles from across South Korea together for a varied program.
Under conductor Im Kyung-taek, the choir performed \"I Lift My Eyes\" and \"Together,\" showcasing clear, pure tones and steady harmonies that earned warm applause. In the mass choir finale, they joined groups from around the nation to sing \"Toward Dreams,\" capping the program with a spirit of unity.
The members displayed on the national stage the musical skills and teamwork they have developed through consistent rehearsal.
The city expects the choir's luminous harmonies to help invigorate youth cultural and arts activities in Uiwang and to contribute positively to the growth of local culture and the arts.
A city official said, \"Participating in a nationwide choral festival gave every member a valuable opportunity to gain musical experience and build confidence. We will continue to present diverse performances that inspire our residents.\"
