On May 11, his agency The Black Label posted the album's tracklist and the title song on its official social channels. The label shared a mockup of QUINTESSENCE and gradually revealed the titles and logos of the record's 10 tracks, drawing strong interest from fans. The reveal of the title track, 'LIVE FAST DIE SLOW,' only intensified anticipation.
The album comprises 10 diverse tracks, including 'WOULD YOU,' which features Tarzan and Woochan of the ALLDAY PROJECT. The songs reflect Taeyang's signature style and have raised expectations among global K-pop audiences. As his first full-length album in nine years, Taeyang is poised to repay fans' long wait with a rich, varied musical palette.
Ahead of the release, Taeyang rolled out trailers, key photos and posters, ramping up excitement for his comeback. QUINTESSENCE is presented as an exploration of Taeyang's core artistic identity, and fans are eager to hear what new musical hues he will bring.
Taeyang will release his fourth studio album, QUINTESSENCE, and the title track 'LIVE FAST DIE SLOW' at 6 p.m. on the 18th.
