Abyss Company announced on May 12 that it had signed Seori, saying, \"We are thrilled to be working with Seori, who brings a singular musical range and sensibility.\"
The company added, \"We will spare no effort to provide full support so Seori's diverse musical talents can shine even brighter.\"
Seori first drew attention with YouTube cover videos in 2019 and officially debuted in 2020 with her first mini-album, \"?depacse ohw.\"
Since then she has released songs such as \"Trigger,\" \"Lovers in the Night,\" \"Long Night,\" \"Dive With You,\" \"Can't Stop This Party\" and \"Cinderella,\" crafting a dreamy, evocative musical world.
Her second mini-album, \"Fake Happy,\" along with tracks like \"High\" and \"Double Down,\" showcased her wide musical range and vocal power.
She has revealed her distinct musical colors through collaborations with other artists, including Tomorrow X Together on \"0X1=LOVESONG\" and Moonbyul of MAMAMOO on \"Head to Toe.\"
Seori also contributed the song \"Warriors\" to the Marvel film \"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\" soundtrack. She has delivered delicate performances for a range of original soundtracks and shows, including Eun-joong and Sang-yeon, Lee Doo-na!, Thief: The Sound of the Sword, The Bride of Black, Tell Me You Love Me, and the variety series Seoul Check-in.
Abyss Company's roster includes Park Won, Sunmi, MeloMance members Kim Min-seok and Jung Dong-hwan, singer-songwriter Jukjae, Young Tak and the virtual group Miwan Boys. Fans are watching closely to see which musical direction Seori will pursue with her new label.
