NCT Taeyong Teams Up with Anderson .Paak: Discover ‘Rock Solid’ and Its Unique Sound

[TV Daily reporter Choi Hana] NCT's Taeyong and Anderson .Paak are set to unveil their collaborative single, "Rock Solid (Feat. Anderson .Paak)," on the 17th.

Taeyong's single "Rock Solid" will be released at 1 p.m. on the 17th across global music platforms, with the music video debuting simultaneously on YouTube's SMTOWN channel.

"Rock Solid" is a hip-hop track built on distinctive drum rhythms and repetitive, chant-like sounds. Anderson .Paak's dynamic flow and signature groove lift the song's energy, while Taeyong's powerful raps blend with them to create a fresh, compelling vibe.

Ahead of his first release in two years and two months, Taeyong said, "I'm excited and nervous to share new music after such a long time. We've worked hard on this, and I hope many people enjoy it." He added, "I hope 'Rock Solid' fills every moment of your daily life with positive energy."

On collaborating with Anderson .Paak, Taeyong said, "It was a new and interesting process. Through this work I realized there are other ways to make music. It gave me a chance to expand as an artist and broaden the way I see the world."

Taeyong will release his first full-length album in May.
