[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] ITZY member Yuna releases her solo debut EP and its title track, "Ice Cream," today (March 23).

At 6:00 p.m. on March 23, Yuna will officially drop her first solo mini album, Ice Cream, and its title track, becoming the second ITZY member to launch a solo career after Yeji. Since her 2019 debut with ITZY, Yuna has stood out for her effervescent charm and signature lovely, positive energy. Now she’s poised to define a distinct solo identity and broaden her artistic reach.

Yuna’s solo debut single "Ice Cream" ushers in a bright spring mood. The song is a bouncy, highly addictive bubblegum-pop track—full of popping energy—and delivers the message: this moment melts sweetly like ice cream, so don’t miss it and enjoy it to the fullest. The music video, directed by Yoon Seung-rim of Legend Film, highlights Yuna’s polished visuals and elegant dance lines.

The new release features the title track "Ice Cream" alongside several contrasting cuts: "B-Boy," which captures a free-spirited vibe; "Blue Maze," a smooth, dreamy take on love rendered with depth; and "Hyper Dream," a dramatic, lushly layered invitation to leap into a dream world—offering listeners a variety of moods to explore.

As ITZY’s golden maknae, Yuna is also helping fuel renewed interest in "THAT'S A NO NO," which has been sweeping social media platforms. The track originally appeared on ITZY’s second mini album, IT'z ME, released in March 2020, and the group first showcased it on their world tour TUNNEL VISION, which kicked off in February. The electric crowd reaction carried online, and ITZY performed "THAT'S A NO NO" on Mnet’s M! Countdown on the 19th to return fans’ enthusiasm.

Nicknamed "Daechu NoNo" (a playful moniker for "THAT'S A NO NO"), the song has racked up soaring views across social channels and climbed back up streaming charts. With her visuals, talent and charisma, Yuna—the group’s youngest member—now embarks on her solo debut amid that momentum, and expectations are high that she’ll sustain it.

Before the EP’s official release at 6:00 p.m. on March 23, Yuna will host a countdown live at 5:00 p.m. the same day to celebrate her solo debut with MIDZY (the fandom name).
