Ahead of U.S.-Iran ceasefire talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, President Trump warned he would order heavy military strikes if negotiations collapse.
In a New York Post interview on the 10th, local time, he said when asked whether talks with Iran would succeed, "We'll know within about 24 hours."
"We're loading ships with top-quality munitions and the best weapons ever produced," he said, adding that the arsenal is on a far higher level than what was used in past campaigns of "total annihilation."
He warned that if an agreement is not reached, those weapons would be used "very effectively."
He also accused Iran of privately telling U.S. officials it would abandon nuclear weapons while publicly telling the press it wants to enrich uranium.
